Behavioral Health Clinic LLC provides Social Security disability consultative examinations for Louisiana Disability Determination Services (DDS) in Bossier City, Louisiana. Andrew J. Thrasher III, PhD, is a licensed clinical psychologist, and Regan Stevens Thrasher, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. Both providers conduct independent psychological consultative examinations on behalf of DDS for claimants throughout Northwest Louisiana and the surrounding region.

DDS examinations are referral-based and scheduled through Louisiana Disability Determination Services. Claimants do not self-refer for these examinations. If you have been scheduled for a consultative examination at Behavioral Health Clinic LLC, please bring a valid photo ID and arrive no more than 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment time. Arriving early will not result in being seen early. These examinations are conducted in person only at our Bossier City office.

Important Information About Your DDS Examination 
This examination is conducted solely for documentation and disability determination purposes. It is not a treatment appointment. Neither provider will offer therapy, prescribe medications based on this examination, or establish an ongoing treatment relationship as a result of this examination.

Confidentiality is limited by the nature of this examination. The completed report is submitted directly to Louisiana Disability Determination Services only and is not available to the examinee or any other party. Dr. Thrasher is also mandated by law to report any disclosure of intent to harm yourself or others, and any disclosure of child or elder abuse.

Audio and video recording of examinations is not permitted.

What to Expect at Your Appointment 
No administrative paperwork. You will not be asked to complete any intake forms or paperwork before your appointment. Simply bring a valid photo ID and arrive no more than 10 minutes early.

Your appointment will include a clinical intake interview followed by an examination with your assigned provider. Depending on the nature of your claim, your examination may also include a brief neurocognitive assessment. Your provider will explain any assessment before it begins.
