MEPS Psychiatric Clearance Evaluations

MEPS psychiatric clearance evaluations are conducted by referral only through the Military Entrance Processing Station. Applicants do not schedule directly with our office. If you have a scheduled evaluation, your appointment was arranged through MEPS and you will receive scheduling information directly from them. What to Expect 
MEPS psychiatric clearance evaluations are forensic examinations conducted for the purpose of military enlistment clearance. They are not treatment appointments and do not result in ongoing care. The evaluation is conducted in person at Behavioral Health Clinic LLC and follows this sequence: 

You will begin by completing intake paperwork and a brief interview with clinical staff. You will then complete psychological testing, which typically takes between one and two hours. Following the testing, Dr. Thrasher will conduct a clinical interview with you directly. Dr. Thrasher cannot discuss testing results with you but may follow up to clarify responses. All findings from both the testing and the interview are reported directly to MEPS.
